Located just a block from Baruch College, this Blank Street is a true grab and go spot. With no seating inside, students use it as a fast stop to fuel up on their way to class or to grab a latte before heading into the Newman Library. It’s not a study destination, but it’s one of the most convenient places for Baruch students to pick up quality coffee or matcha in between lectures.

Ratings:

Drink Quality: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆

Atmosphere: ⭐⭐☆☆☆

Study-Friendly: ⭐☆☆☆☆

Value for Money: ⭐⭐⭐½☆

Drink Quality:

Blank Street is consistent across its NYC locations, and this one is no different. Student enjoy the different flavor Matcha Lattes and the many coffee options. Additionally, there are also seasonal drinks, collaborations, and limited edition flavor drinks. Drinks are customizable with alternative milks, though extras come with added cost. Pastries are limited, but perfect for a quick bite on the way to class.

Atmosphere:

With no seating, the vibe here is strictly in-and-out. The minimalist decor is pleasant, but most customers are in line for their mobile orders or rushing back to campus. It’s not the place to hang out, but it’s quick, efficient, and reliable.

Study-Friendly:

This location isn’t set up for studying as there are no tables, outlets, and quiet corners. Instead, think of it as the coffee stop before your study session. Many students grab drinks here, then head over to the Newman Library or another larger cafe nearby to actually do their work.

Value for Money:

For Manhattan, the pricing is fair. Simple coffees and matchas are student-budget friendly, but specialty lattes and add-ons can creep up. Still, the convenience of being right by campus makes it worth it when you’re short on time.

Overall:

Blank Street Coffee at 127 E 23rd St is perfect for Baruch students who need a quick caffeine fix on the way to class. It’s not a study spot but a grab and go essential.
