About Us
It started with a simple struggle we all shared as master’s students at Baruch College: where do you go when you need to focus, but home is full of distractions and the library feels too quiet?
We found ourselves wandering into cafés — sometimes to dive into readings, sometimes to meet classmates for group projects, and always for the comfort of a good cup of coffee or matcha. Some places had the perfect atmosphere, others had amazing drinks, and a few had both — but it was never easy to know where to go.
That’s how Study & Sips NYC began: as a way to map out the city’s best spots to sip, study, and connect, blending our own experiences with the culture of New York’s vibrant café scene.
